Glow Effect – Flash Tutorial

In this tutorial we will teach you how to apply a glow effect to an object in Flash.

Open Flash and click on Modify/Document.




Then in Document Properties windows set width to 260 and Height to 50px.

Select the Text Tool, under Fill Color choose black and type some text on the stage.

While your text is still selected, click on Insert/Convert to Symbol.

After that click on Windows/Properties.
In the Properties Panel click on Filters, and after that on Add filter icon and choose Glow.

After that, select the following values:
